All
interested men will go through three processes to become a member.
1. Application
Process: During this process you will complete a written application. Along
with the application you will also need the following:
- Two letters of recommendation: one from an academic teacher
the other from another adult source that is not family. (pastor, coach, mentor.)
- Proof of grades from each class showing the student has met
the 2.5 grade requirement.
- A letter from your parents giving permission to join the
organization if you are under the age of 17.
2. The Interview Process: If your application meets the approval
of the advisor and members then you will be invited to an interview. This interview
will be conducted as a job interview– please be dressing in business attire. You
will be given a letter of your interview time and place. Please be early or to
be on time.
3. The Classroom Process: During the classroom process you will
learn all Sigma Beta information, national and local. Your dedication to your
studies and your loyalty to the club will be tested during this process, and at the end of the process you will be given a
written test of all the information you have learned.
If your test is passed you will take part in the Induction Ceremony where you will become
a full fledge member of the Sigma Beta Club.
These processes are to assure us that we get the best quality men.
We don’t believe that it takes quantity to make the club but a group of quality members to accomplish our goals.
